It’s a Lucy! It’s a Tiger! It’s a Liger!
Me-Ow! I know you’re all thinking Napoleon Dynamite, but apparently there is such things a Liger — the offspring of a male lion and female tiger according to Wikipedia. I found this out over the weekend while I was watching “My Super Sweet Sixteen” on Mtv. Don’t ask. Anyway, Lucy has been sporting this very cute and fashionable T-shirt sent to her by Dawn. Thanks, Dawn! #lklm
Dog-A-Thon Fundraising status
Lucy’s fundraising is in full swing! We have received great response to our mailers sent out earlier in the month. Lucy licked the stamps herself. So far we have raised over $200.00 from you cherished friends and family. Thank you. The little creatures of Tacoma Pierce County would thank you too if they could. We are well on our way and will hopefully meet our goal! More updates to come, but I thought I would post a picture or two in gratitude for your contributions and support. Lucy has been busy training for her walk, but a bulldog also needs to rest hard. As the climate gets warmer, and I know we will be seeing more of the upside down bulldog pose in days to come.
