It’s that time of year again for our favorite charity event - The Humane Society of Tacoma Pierce County’s Dog-A-Thon 2008! Even though we no longer reside in Pierce County, this annual event is still the most important project we take part in every year. Last year our team, Mixed Bag o’ Mutts, raised $2130.00. This year we hope to double, even triple that amount. Please visit our personal fundraising site to help us in our fight to end homelessness for Cats and Dogs in Pierce County. December 2008 has been set as the Target Date for The Pierce County Humane Society to reach it’s goal of no kill community shelter status, and we really want to see this become a reality.
